Mrs. Deana Frederick began with MTSU in 1998, as a Data Information Clerk in the Purchasing Department. She joined the Department of Human Sciences in August 2000, as the Technical Clerk. Deana was born in Tennessee and lived in Huntsville, Alabama where she graduated from Madison Academy High School as salutatorian. She attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Sante Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. She received her Certified Professional Secretary Certificate in 1999, while at MTSU. Deana and her family have been involved with Middle Tennessee State University for three generations. Her father graduated in 1956, her husband graduated in 1983 and her daughter is currently attending MTSU.
